A carefully selected Bach mouthpiece can help improve a player's embouchure, attack, tonguing, and endurance. Vincent Bach was a rare combination of artist and engineer. A mechanical genius and acclaimed trumpet soloist, his instruments and mouthpieces are used today in every major studio and orchestra in the world. Bach personally designed the tools and composed the plans that continue to set the high standards for making all Bach products today.

Bach 7 Tuba Megatone Mouthpiece

Bach Megatone Design

For many years symphonic and jazz brass players have experimented with different ways to darken their sound. The Bach Megatone mouthpiece range takes these experiments one step further. All Megatone mouthpieces follow the same inner designs as standard mouthpiece models, and are all made from high-quality American brass. The additional mass on the outside walls produces a more powerful, darker sound and also helps with note centring, while the larger throat offers less resistance with greater flexibility. Bach Megatone mouthpieces are available in a variety of different sizes and are ready for trumpet, cornet, flugel horn, tenor trombone, bass trombone and tuba.

About Bach

Bach have been making trumpets since 1924 and are viewed as one of the best trumpet manufacturers in the world. Musicians frequently referred to Bach trumpets as having a real "Stradivarius" sound, referring to the world-famous string instruments. To this day, Bach Stradivarius trumpets remain the choice of artists worldwide.
