The Select Jazz line is milled not molded, from solid rod rubber, using D'Addario's precise computer-controlled mouthpiece-making technology. The result is a mouthpiece with a classic sound and response, with even intonation across the entire range of the saxophone. The inspiration for these mouthpieces was derived from the great vintage mouthpieces of the first half of the 20th century, but with modern precision milling.
