Descended from the ubiquitous green, ’80s-era overdrive pedal, the Scranton Screamer produces a familiar tubelike clipping. That said, it distinguishes itself with an active 2-band EQ, which enables sound shaping that goes beyond its predecessor. On top of that, a 2-way switch gives you the choice of green-sounding symmetrical clipping or yellow-sounding asymmetrical clipping.
