The Jones oboe reed is one ofthe few commercial oboe reeds available with the long scrape used bynearly all professionals. Finest French cane is sorted, selected, andprocessed by skilled craftsmen, then the reeds are created using theworld's most advanced reed machinery. Each reed is individually testedand adjusted by hand. Nearly every reed receives some hand scrapingbefore final inspection and packaging.
