REVEREND AIRSONIC W METALLIC ALPINE BURST

The Reverend Airsonic W, finished in Metallic Alpine Burst, is the result of Reverend Founder Joe Naylor's quest to combine the sustain of a solid body with the attack and big, rich tone of a semi-hollow. Through-body f-holes on radically thinner wings, with a thick centre block, give a huge amount of resonance, while maintaining solid sustain. Add in forearm and stomach contours, and not only is this innovative hybrid super-resonant, but super-comfortable too. 

A pair of Railhammer Humcutter pickups are the perfect choice for this solid-body/hollow-body crossover, allowing harmonics to shiver, single note licks to sing, and power chord riffs to ring with bell-like resonance. Railhammer pickups are as much of a crossover design as the Airsonic itself, featuring rails under the wound strings for a tight low-end, and poles under the plain strings for fatter high-ends - perfect for bringing extra clarity and punch to your sound. For the Nuevo neck pickup, think P-90 clarity and dynamics, without the hum. The Heavy 90 Bridge is the highest output Humcutter, like a P-90 on steroids. A treble bleed circuit on the volume control preserves your treble when you dial down the volume, while a bass contour control tightens your low end. A Korina body adds to the resonance of the Airsonic, giving this guitar a tonal foundation that is consistent, lively and responsive, as well as harmonically rich. A Medium Oval-profile Roasted Maple neck and Pau Ferro fingerboard sits nicely in your hand, offering hours of comfortable playability. Locking tuners, Boneite nut, and a Wilkinson tremolo with locking saddles maximise tuning stability.
