Scaled to fit 4/4 size violin with a playing length of 13 inches(328mm), medium tension strings are optimized to the needs of amajority of players. Kaplan gold-plated violin E strings provide arich, vibrant tone. The precision plating process also provides for astring with enhanced corrosion resistance. The Kaplan Non-Whistling Estring is specifically designed to solve open E-string "whistling"occurrences. It produces a warm, rich tone that blends very well withlower strings. Kaplan Non-Whistling E includes one free Kaplan Ball EndAdapter for use on single hook style fine tuners.
