Kerry King Overlord

The new Dean Kerry King Overlord signature model is very extreme, both visually and as a high-gain riff machine. It features a solid mahogany body and a maple top finished in Dark Gray. The 24.75″ scale length set-thru 3-piece maple neck has a custom Kerry King C-shaped neck profile and 12″ fretboard radius. It is fitted with 24 jumbo frets on an ebony fretboard.

There is also some pretty fancy inlay work, that includes handcrafted Slayer-inspired pearl custom inlays accompanied by LED fret markers along the side.

Sustainiac

It comes loaded with a Sustainiac neck pickup and an EMG 81 with PA2 Preamp Booster pickup at the bridge position. This means this guitar will scream with high gain and offer infinite sustained notes as well.

Controls consist of Volume, PA2 Booster on/off, a 3-way toggle, Tone, Sustainiac on/off with mode switch and a 25K pot to further control volume and tone.

The hardware is all black and includes a Kahler KFK tremolo system and a set of Grover 18:1 tuners.

Our second unique, all-new Dean design comes with a remarkable level of precision and focus. The Dean USA Custom Shop team paired a mahogany body with a North American maple top, painted in a stunning dark gray high gloss finish. A 3-piece maple neck with a Kerry King Spec. 24.75 scale length, and a C neck shape. 24 jumbo fret, Ebony Fingerboard with detailed hand-crafted pearl custom inlays accompanied with ultra-vibrant LED fret markers along the side. The electronics feature the amazing Sustainiac neck pickup and an EMG 81 with PA2 Preamp Booster pickup at the bridge. Completing this iconic guitar is Kerry’s own signature Kahler KFK Tremolo system.
