New on this incarnation is a footswitchable Midrange section, complete with a variable center frequency and boost/cut knobs. This allows you to focus the mids along with kicking them in anytime you need a little more "oomph" to cut through the mix. With the traditional Big Muff, chords could get a little mushy (which was part of the charm!), especially at high gain settings.
