Fine Antique German Violin made after Guarneri Circa 1940

Made on the Guarneri Pattern, circa 1940.
Top is made of two pieces of Spruce, and shows regular grain lines.
Back is made of two piece highly flamed maple, A fine choice of wood.
Ribs, neck and scroll are from the same wood, and original to the instrument.
Varnish is of an orange-brown colour on a golden ground.
F holes are beautifully carved in the style of Guarneri.
Back of the peg box, is fire branded the mention, "Grand Solo Violin Guarneri".
On the inside back can also be found a handwritten inscription “Guarneri 1724".
Suits advanced player needing a quality older instrument with good response and clarity.
New Violin case included for security in transit.

Without any cracks or repairs.
The instrument has been newly setup, including a new Despiau bridge, Thomastik Dominant strings, and a new set of pegs, tailpiece and chinrest.
