King Snake is a guitar brand from Japan. In Japan, the snake is known as a messenger of Benzai Ten, the goddess of music. This and the unique sound of hollowbody guitars and the myths surrounding blues and country players who kept snakeskin in their guitars for a better sound, were the inspiration for their name.

This is a full acoustico with three P-90s used by R&R and blues musicians such as Carl Perkins, Lowell Fulson, and Gary Carter in the early days of the modern blues.

And, above all it has the sound of T-Bone Walker, the father of modern blues.

The sound that attracted B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Gaitmouth Brown, and others, and the sound that has an acoustic feel but is still crisp. This is the sound that attracted B.B. King, Chuck Berry, Gaitmouth Brown and others to play with this instrument.

The pickups are hand-wired to avoid too much boomy bass, and the neck and middle pickups are wired with less wire turns. The bridge pickup is wound a little more loosely for a sharp but strong mid & low tone.

The nice tone of the plywood is maximized and uniquely layered.

Controls are the same as the ST, with 3 P.U. switchable by Toggle SW, 1 Masterl Volume & 2 Tone (Front Tone, Middle & Bridge Tone).
