1. The new M6 pin (with two pins) has an identical housing dimension to the Schaller predecessor model (with one pin). For the exchange from old to new, please see the following picture and the technical drawing at the end of the article description. The correct pin spacing (center-to-center) is 10 mm. 
2. Different dimensions to Fender pin tuners:

1. On some Fender guitars you will find machine heads that have a pin spacing of 10 mm. However, the distance between the pins and the center of the post varies here: Fender pin 11.7 mm vs. Schaller M6 pin 8 mm! As a rule, our M6 Fender-Style (optionally with locking wheel on the housing) machine heads are more suitable for Fender instruments, as the distance here corresponds to 11.7 mm (see technical drawing in the illustration above).
