Superb Old 4/4 Violin

This is a very Fine Violin, setup Ready to play, with no damages oropen cracks. It has a couple of very minor edge cracks, which have beenprofessionally repaired, and thats all I can see, on this fine violin.
Top is from fine grain Spruce. Evenaccross the table. Elegant f holes and a well graduated top. Purflingis super fine, and precisesly inlaid. Very fine workmanship.
The back, is 2 piece highly flamed maple,. No damages orrepairs, that I can see. Very Fine inlaide purfling, as with the top.
The scroll is in original condition Nicely carved, with goodbalance.
Pegs are newly fitted Rosewood, Hill Style.
Violin set up with an Aubert deluxe Bridge, Thomastik strings with aGold E String. Ebony tailpiece and Chin rest

I do not assume this is an original violin made in 1716, however, it is a fineviolin in its own right, which is in fine playing condition.
If it was an original Guarnerius, you will have made the bestinvestment of your lifetime.
If it is not, you have purchased a very fine violin, that is sureto give you many years
of joy.
